I think I’ve eaten an entire tree-worth of cherries in the last couple days.

I still can’t walk from my workout two days ago. I literally can hardly go up the stairs. I need to ween myself back into it I guess!
Just did my first weight lifting since last summer. I died after thirty minutes.
Dinner Tonight
Tonight I made a vegetarian dinner for my family! Baked sea bass with mango-avocado salsa, baked asparagus with parmesan cheese, and a side of herbed/lemon quinoa, and quinoa chocolate cupcakes for dessert! YUM!!!
Anonymous asked: Would you say that sushi is healthy or good for you?
Anonymous asked: Would you say it's normal to gain and lose inches throughout your body while beginning to workout and stuff?
Anonymous asked: I need your advice on how to get a flat tummy fast. I'm 5'3, my weight is probably somewhere between 115-125 (I honestly haven't weighed myself in a while and it fluctuates pretty often) and over the past few months I've made a lot of healthy life choices, but I haven't seen a difference in my abdomen. I've been practicing yoga for over a year. I've been going to...

Anonymous asked: Hiya! I was going through some of your personal posts and I saw that you said that you had a breast reduction. I was wondering if you could talk about that experience. I don't mean to be too personal it's just that I was thinking about possibly doing the same thing but I need more time to think everything through. Wonderful blog and God bless!
Anonymous asked: i am feeling very overwhelmed by my attempts to get healthy and lose weight. i never know what/how much i should be eating or what kind of workouts what i should be doing. i've been a vegan for a few years and recently i am wondering if that is the best diet for me. i know that is a lot jumbled into one ask, but do you have any advice or resources i should look into?
Anonymous asked: Is it okay to just decide each day how you want to workout? Even if that changes from day to day? Or are consistent non-changing workouts better? I'm guessing it's probably a case of any exercise is good but I wanted your opinion on it.
Anonymous asked: Hi... I am currently living in my college dorm over the summer and I will not have access to a kitchen. I will only have my microwave to cook with. I am determined to drop 30lbs by August. Would you happen to have any healthy and microwave friendly recipes that you could share??
Anonymous asked: I'm just curious, do you have any type of personal training or nutrition certifications? It seems to me that though your advice is based off of personal success it may not be the right prescription for everyone.
Anonymous asked: What is your favorite healthy snack/meal? :)
Anonymous asked: This may be a stupid question....But would you say that 134 lbs at 5'7" is healthy? My waist is 27 inches, hips 34 in, etc and I'm somewhat toned. But I still feel like I'm so big and need to lose a couple more inches all over. What is the best way to do this? I feel self conscious lifting weights at the gym since everyone stares.
Anonymous asked: Is it possible to lose 20 lbs in 3 months? Also, when you go home and your family makes unhealthy dinner/ goes out to eat somewhere unhealthy, how do you manage to still lose weight? Thanks!

Anonymous asked: Hi, I love your blog! I'm a 19 year old girl who weighs 151 pounds and stands at five-foot-one-and-a-half-inches. As you can tell from those measurements, I need to lose weight. My only thing is that it is so difficult for me to get motivated. Can you tell me how I can get (and stay) motivated?
Anonymous asked: What tips do you have for people who struggle with cardio? :)
Anonymous asked: What would you consider a workout regime for someone looking to lose those last few pounds of fat + also build muscle? How much/many of x and/or y a day/week?
Anonymous asked: Hi I'm 5'10" and I wan to just generally lose a few inches throughout my body, but i don't so much want to lose weight as in know from my bmi I'm in danger of being unhealthy.I've been told that toning makes you thinner looking but increases your weight as you're gaining muscle, so i tried doing 50 squats a day for a months and i've actually gained inches...
Anonymous asked: Why is it that the numbers on my scale are going up even though I'm not eating very much over my calorie budget, and I'm doing decent cardio and strength workouts?
Anonymous asked: How can I cut back on carbs when bread is a huge staple in my diet?
Anonymous asked: Why won't my weight go below 125? It seems to fluctuate between 125 and 130 every two weeks. What am i doing wrong? I can feel my muscles getting stronger, but i dont feel any smaller.
Anonymous asked: Do you have any idea for a beginners workout? Like, what you would "prescribe" someone who wants to look fit even though their BMI isn't overweight or anything?

Anonymous asked: What exercise do you recommend for toning ab muscles? Are planks good for that?
Anonymous asked: I've started doing squats and sit ups everyday. I've started on 30 of each and I'm bringing them up by 5 every 2days. Would you suggest any other exercise that I should do with these ?

Anonymous asked: Question relating to what another anon asked about eating. I have recently started resistance training, been going for maybe a month now and enjoying it. One thing that concerns me is that I do not think I consume enough calories to really support it. I am male and have always been light with low bodyfat and eaten very little, probably never had more than 2000 calories in a day in my life, just...
Anonymous asked: Do you think having "cheat days" are a way of making a diet seem more temporary than it should be? What I mean by this is: If you're starting a new healthy diet and give yourself an unhealthy snack once a week, doesn't that hold you prisoner to those kinds of cravings every other day of the week?
Anonymous asked: How do you deal with muscle soreness?
Anonymous asked: Do you know a good website/equation to work out my BMR & AMR? Every website I find through Google seems to give me different answers :/
georgeismine asked: Hey! I don't think I've ever asked you a question, but I've been following you forever. I used to be really good about my eating and working out, but I injured my knee this past August and was out for almost two months (a solid two weeks at the beginning of not being able to walk at all). I still haven't been able to get back into a routine or get back into healthy eating....

At the beginning of the semester in my yoga/sculpt class we did a little fitness test so track improvement. I improved some, but nothing super significant, mostly because I was kind of at the peak of my fitness level around when we took the first assessment.
